Publication of inscriptions and engravings from churches of the Rethymnon, Mylopotamos and Amari districts, dated from the early 13th to the mid-18th century. More specifically, the material has been found in Arkadi Monastery, Aghios Antonios Monastery, Aghios Stefanos and the church of the Theotokos in the Kastri area, the church of the Theotokos in Skouloufia, Aghii Theodori and Aghios Ioannis o Prodromos near the village of Nefs Amari, the church of the Theotokos in Thronos, Aghii Apostoli in Petrochori, Aghios Georgios near Fourfouras, Aghia Paraskevi in the village of the same name, Aghios Georgios o Xiphiphoros near Apodoulou, Michael Archangellos in Monastiraki, Aghios Demetrios on Mt Samitos, and Asomaton Monastery. |
