| Better readings are suggested for certain Early Christian inscriptions housed in the Public Archaeological Collection of Kastelli, Kissamos and originating in both the town itself and its environs. Some of the texts of the inscriptions have already been included in M. Guarducci's Inscriptiones Creticαe. They were published in full in 1948 by V. D. Theophanides, together with photographic reproductions, on which the new readings are based. |
