Instead of an introduction, the edition is prefaced by a note by the editorial committee of the Kretika Chronika, setting out the conclusions at which the editor had arrived in an earlier study concerning the contents and importance of the text, its main differences from other Revelations, its language, provenance and probable date of authorship. |
